SYNOPSIS: In present-day Phnom Penh, free-spirited Sophoun stumbles onto a piece of her family's hidden history: her mother was once the star of a Khmer film left unfinished when the Khmer Rouge seized power. Determined to complete the story, Sophoun sets out to find the movie's long-lost final reel, and in doing so unearths painful memories her mother has spent a lifetime trying to bury. A tender drama about art, memory, and healing across generations of a country still reckoning with its past.
