SYNOPSIS: An encounter with a Korean-Cuban taxi driver in Havana unearths the little-known history of Koreans trafficked to Latin America and the remarkable odyssey of her father, Jeronimo Lim Kim — a charismatic son of slaves who became a law student, revolutionary, and compadre of Fidel Castro, eventually redefining what it means to be Korean.
