SYNOPSIS: Set during Japan's Nanboku-cho period, when the country was split between rival Northern and Southern Courts, this sweeping tale follows Shiren, a legendary female assassin born into a clan of killers, and Ragi, a young swordsman who reveres her. When word arrives that Godai, the Southern king Shiren once believed she had killed, is alive, the North's ruling powers order her to finish the job. Ragi insists on joining her, and as the mission unfolds, long-buried secrets, forbidden love, and the tragic weight of loyalty and betrayal converge toward a devastating reckoning.
